Dennis grew up in Monroeville, AL and lettered in football and basketball for Excel High School. His passion for football led him to play college ball at LaGrange College. He transferred after his freshman season to the University of South Alabama to continue his football career. Personal health elements subsequently ended his football career and piqued his interest in Medicine.
His interest in medical science led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Radiological Sciences with a concentration in Computed Tomography. He worked in the field of Radiology for five years prior to deciding to pursue more advanced medical education. In 2022 he completed his master’s degree of Physician Assistant Studies from Faulkner University. There he was nominated as “ Mr. Faulkner Physician Assistant” by his peers. As a provider he has worked in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine before joining SOS part time at our Urgent Ortho Clinic. As a former athlete, his passion for sports medicine inspired his pursuit of a career in orthopedics. He particularly enjoys treating a variety of acute athletic injuries as well as chronic orthopedic conditions for all individuals.
Dennis is married to his high school sweetheart, Taylar and they have two beautiful girls. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with family.
